Thank god September is over 👋🏻

Hello October! And today is my first official day of unemployment! 😩 still really don’t know how I feel about it as I’ve never not had a job since I was 15 years old! I had a great 8 years at the NHS! I’m not gonna lie sometimes extremely challenging and had a couple of episodes where I need to take a step back. I do take away from it some great life skills as well as an amazing group of friends. September has been a crazy month what with Liberty’s 1st birthday followed by her hospital admission with cellulitis, having to go for DVLA medical but all worked out as finally got my driving license back.

The last week or so of the month I’ve had the worlds worst sore throat and must’ve tried everything to help it even gargling TCP! Luckily it’s not tonsillitis but doctor gave me some strong painkillers and I just need to ride it out! Easier said than done!

September has been great for Harrogate I feel proud to Live here over the last couple of weeks with the UCI world championship cycling been hosted here and getting to experience the excitement around it! Plus the amazing Harrogate festivals for putting on a light show that literally blew my mind!

October should be a good month fingers crossed as hopefully will find a job and not be too financially hit! Plus get to be part of the Hey Mama Harrogate maternal mental health group which starts on Friday 4th October which I have mentioned previously in my blog posts! Also I have decided in October that I’m going to take part in the @girlaboutblogsquad Photo challenge to remain positive and optimistic for the future 📸
